This pattern contains two versions of a gathered dress, both of which are perfect for casual or working wear. View A has a bodice that is gathered at the waistline, in both front and back. View B is a fuller front, gathered at both shoulder and waistline, and gathered at the waist in the back. Both views have a high round neckline and moderately dropped shoulder line. The sleeves are a medium-full bishop sleeve with a buttoned cuff. Under the gathered bodice is a fitted lining. The closure is at the center front, and can be either buttons or hooks/eyes. The skirt waistband is attached over the waist of bodice, with the opening in the left side-front seam. A pocket is hidden in the skirt opening. A pattern for the skirt is given in full, with instructions for cartridge pleating.
